Office Hours
All of the work in producing the magazine is contributed by AWA volunteer staff, therefore there are no regular office hours. All costs associated with publishing and distributing the magazine – writing, editing, photography, artwork, layout – are covered solely by advertising sales. Frequency and Circulation
The Bamboo Telegraph is published 10 times per year; January/February and July/August are combined issues. All AWA members receive a copy during the first week of the month with new members receiving their first magazine upon joining. Approximately 1,200 magazines are printed for each edition with a total readership of over 3,000.
Membership Profile
AWA members are currently approximately 75% American and Canadian citizens; other nationalities make up the remaining membership.
