AWA Membership
To become a member, you must have an address in Singapore (a service apartment address is fine). If you or your husband is an American or Canadian citizen, you qualify for Regular Membership. For all other nationalities, you or your spouse may still become a member under Associate status. Associate members have all the same privileges as regular members except they cannot vote at General Meetings or hold a position on the executive board.
Please note the following:
- The current membership term runs from July 1 of the current year through June 30 of the following year.
- Membership fees are S$125.00 for one year for all members.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, local bank checks, and cash for payment.
- If you are an Associate member, it is important to renew your membership by June 30. If we receive your application after June 30, you may be put on the Associate Waitlist.
- On January 1 the membership fee drops to $65 and is valid until June 30.
Regular Membership
Please bring a filled in Membership Application Form to the AWA Office.
Renewing Members: You may mail your completed Membership Application Form and use your American Express number or crossed Singapore bank check. If renewing in person, we also accept MasterCard, Visa, Singapore bank checks, cash and Nets.
Associate Membership
Members wishing to join the AWA as an Associate must complete a membership application as above. If we are currently unable to accept new Associate Members you can pay a deposit of S$50 to join the waitlist. This will be applied toward membership dues of S$125.00.
While awaiting Associate status, you may participate in all AWA activities and events at the guest rate.
