Are you new to the AWA? All AWA activities are suitable for newcomers, however we have selected a few here that we think are particularly appropriate as you start your AWA journey!

During COVID-19 restrictions, please check our calendar to see which activities are running, or email office@awasingapore.org

AWA Facebook Member Community
Got a question for other members? Join us on Facebook. You can ask questions about life in Singapore, get recommendations, and arrange social activities with other members.

Coffee & Friends
Every Friday (excluding public holidays) members and guests gather for a coffee and a chat. If you are new to the AWA, or just new to Singapore and would like to find out what the AWA is about, this is a great place to start. If you have any questions, please contact coffee@awasingapore.org

Walking with Women
This friendly group of women love to walk (and talk) their way around Singapore. They currently organize walks in small groups. Join their Facebook page, AWA Walking With Women, and once approved, you will see the different walks listed for those days. You can sign up for walks on the Facebook page where walks are posted.

Local Tours
AWA offers members the opportunity to explore and learn more about Singapore through an array of Local Tours. Understand the symbolism of Chinese New Year, discover the meaning of Thaipusam or Vesak Day, explore colorful shophouses or Singapore's "black and whites," trek Bukit Timah, or visit Pulau Ubin. All tours are led by a professional guide. So put on your walking shoes, grab a bottle of water, and get ready to experience something special.
