AWA Photo Walk: Sungei Buloh Morning Walk

Camera users are invited to join the photography group for a walk around the Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve.
This is a bit of an experiment on the part of the chairs of the photography group. Carol will be leading a group of nature loving photographers around the reserve. This is a very early morning shoot. Based on who signs up we will arrange transportation and share the cost. ie--transportation is on your own account.
The aim is to be at Sungei Buloh around 7am-ish to catch the morning light along with bird and other animal activity. We will also to take in the beauty of the the wetlands and the mangroves. There are crocodiles, monitor lizards, migratory birds, and nature all around. We will not be short of material to photograph.
For this shoot, at least a 300mm is lens is recommended (longer if you have it) to be able to capture the bird life on the wetlands. Tripod is optional. It can be difficult to capture birds in flight with a tripod. We can discuss before we embark on this walk.
I have estimated a departure time around 6:30am. We can reassess as the event date approaches. As we are going during the week we might be able to push this back a bit--the group can discuss this closer to the time of the event.

AWA REGISTRATION POLICIES:
• Bookings open on the first working day of the month.
• You must register in advance to attend an event.
• If an event is full, please join the waitlist, if one has been created.
• The event ends at approximately the listed time.
• Only adults over 18 years may attend AWA tours unless otherwise designated.
• Family members and out of town guests pay AWA member price, other Singapore residents pay the guest price.
AWA CANCELLATION POLICIES:
• If the event is marked non-refundable, then no refund can be given. You can offer your space to other members via the AWA Facebook Member Community and notify the office of any change.
• All other AWA event fees include a $5 non-refundable cancellation fee. This cannot be returned under any circumstances.
• If an event is not marked as non-refundable, you may cancel your attendance by emailing the event coordinator AND office@awasingapore.org up to 4 working days prior to the event.
• If you paid online, we will refund you via Paypal within 30 days. If you paid by any other method you will be asked for your preferred refund method, cash or check.
• You may transfer your attendance to another AWA member or to another identical event (e.g. Mahjong game to Mahjong game) no less than 4 working days prior to the event, by emailing office@awasingapore.org with the new attendee’s name.
• Cancellations received within 4 working days of the event will not be refunded.
