Little Little

By Sara Kelly
Writers' Block: A contribution from our AWA Writers' Group members

I love your little little feet

and your little little toes,

your little little shoes

that match with little clothes.

I love your little little legs

with little dumpling knees

which wibble wibble wobble

like little sticks of cheese.

I love the little little button

in the middle of your tummy,

I love your little little giggles

and little thoughts; so funny!

I love your little little teeth;

precious yoghurt pearls

and your little little furry brows

beneath your bouncy curls.

I love the little little sparkle

in your dolly dolly eyes.

I wonder, how your little mouth

lets out such gigantic cries?

About

‘Little Little’ is from the children’s book 4 a.m. Raspberry Party which is a collection of 11 poems with hand-painted illustrations that celebrate the everyday magic of childhood moments, from flying eggs at the breakfast table to unexpected ‘parties’ at 4 a.m.

4 a.m. Raspberry Party is recommended for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers. You can listen to the audiobook for free on Spotify or purchase a physical copy of the book on Etsy or the Flossie Bossy store
